A flower and a Mantis

I had to change the tint of this one in post -I'm beginning to think that this flower has a green tint to it that the mind ignores but the camera sees. Tech Specs: Canon 1D Mark III (F16, 1/250, ISO 800) + a Canon MPE-65mm macro lens (@ 1x) + a diffused MT-24EX. A combination of natural light for the background and the flash (illuminating the subject).
Another frame of a very cooperative Mantis that I shot out at the farm this summer. I'm finally starting to see this predator now that I've convinced my mother in law to stop spraying pesticides. Tech Specs: Canon 1D Mark III (F13, 1/250, ISO 100) + a Canon MPE-65mm macro lens (@ 2.5x) + a diffused MT-24EX (-1/3 FEC and a 1/4 CTO gel) and a 320 EX (1/4 CTO gel) set to group C and slaved off of the MT-24EX to illuminate the background.
