problems with rear tray feed on 3880.

95% of the time when I attempt to load matte paper in the rear tray, I get an error message. I was told to call an Epson repair dealer and after speaking to them, I was told that most rear tray feeds on the 3880 do NOT work, and that there is NO repair which can be carried out!!!! That really sucks!!!

When I told Epson tech support, a woman named Dolores told me "that's the way it is!!!" Anyone else with the same problem?
