Thank you for posting this. The fact that Sigma was able to minimise SD9 highlight blowouts with the help of a firmware update gives some peace of mind in this situation.
Sigma was also able to reduce the color clipping effect by improving their Pro Photo RAW development software, see

Let us hope that Fuji will also be able to fix it via firmware update.
