5N overheating while shooting video?

I shot a wedding yesterday and the videographer used his new 5N to shoot the entire ceremony from a fixed angle while he roved around using his other video camera. His assistant told him that it overheated and shut off at 18 minutes. Then when she tried to restart it kept overheating and shutting off after a few minutes. I've never shot such a long video with my 5N and have only heard that you can shoot 30 minute clips. Has anyone ever had their 5N overheat and shut down while shooting?
