Going Pro with a 60D.
Dec 2, 2011

Hey guys,

So, I recently lost my full-time job and decided since I spend ALL of my extra time shooting, why not give full-time professional photography a shot... again

I have only been shooting landscapes since November of 2010, so I still have a huge amount of room to improve. I also need to learn how to customize my website more, which I am currently working on.

It would be cool if you could give me some feedback on what does and doesn't work for you. Hate my work? Let me know. Website not looking good enough? Let me know. I am now at the mercy of the public's eye, so any feedback you guys can give is super helpful in getting my head in the right direction.

I think my best strategy is to get into art galleries with large prints. Most of my latest work is done with photo stitching, so the low resolution of the 60D isn't really any issue. Some of my shots are upwards of 100MP.

Here's my website:

Expect some more shots of higher quality this following year as I really start hitting it hard, full-time.

I also get rejected all the time when submitting to publications. Anyone think it is just the lack of quality in my photos or is there a small chance I am screwing myself by using an amateur camera?

Thank you for your time,
Johan
