Thanks for the reply Bob, honestly I have no idea, I have 70K clicks on my D3 so I use it a lot but have no idea on the screw coming out. I took it in to my local camera shop and they can get me a screw for it or I believe I will be send it off for an inspection after the first of the year, when my D3x comes in.

Thanks for the reply, the Loc-Tite is a good idea in my opinion, but I will probably have Nikon go through it to insure it's still ok.

Thanks,

Randy

If the screw threads are loose, you have more serious problem than a simple missing screw. How did the threads in the body loosen? Or are the screws simply missing a dab of Loc-Tite?

Family, mostly sports. Seriously, folks, I'm not that good. If I can do it, you can do it!
