Nikon D7000 plus Sigma 85mm 1.4 samples

Just a couple of overall pointers on the lens

1) I never use filters. On this lens always, always use the lens hood. I claim to see better contrast and definition when using it, call me crazy. Also only way to protect the glass

2) I use AF-ON, AF-C, 39 points, single focusing point. This lens took -15 adjustment on my D7000 to be sharp at f1.4

That means nothing and should be no deterrent from buying it. My 351.8DX nikon takes -20 and still backfocuses. The tokina 11-16 is tack on target at -14. So take this with a grain of salt.

3) Lens does elicit chromatic aberrations wide open and in contrasty scenes. To be honest a rather minor issue and that in my mind
