I need a travel zoom for a three week Europe trip (Canon G7 died and don't have room for an SLR). The trip will be skiing and general travel, which is my life normally. I'd wait for PMA/CES but that's after the trip. Image stabilization, speed/burst, low light, and overall image quality are important. Manual and quick control are important. Use with gloves on... Important.
Thoughts?
