Finding shutter count on original 5D
Nov 27, 2011
|
I am about to purchase a used original 5D. The seller claims it has only between 2000 – 3000 actuations. I will have my laptop with me when I inspect the camera, and I would like to take a shot, download it, and use any software to verify the shutter count. If it has fewer than 10,000, I will still buy it. But knowing the shutter count will give me an idea of how honest the seller is. How can I find the shutter count?
I will appreciate any other advice from anybody who has upgraded from 40D or similar camera.
Many thanks for your help,
Armando.
