Tom, you sound knowledgeable, and no offense intended here, but have you looked at the Mercedes image in wymjym's post above? He also provided a link below to the RAW image. The highlights aren't just blown; they are blooming out a considerable radius. It will be interesting to see what some of you can do with the RAW file. I would think that would answer whether a firmware fix is possible (unless there is significant processing contained also in the RAW image).

Like many here, I'm intrigued with Fuji's new line, hoping there's a good fix.
