Last week my girlfriend's aunt bought a new compact camera for her picture-taking needs.
As expected, she did not take the trouble to unpackage and load the battery herself, as I was to be "more knowledeable" in these photography matters.
It was a PowerShot SX220 HS:
Took some time to fiddle around with it. Nice display, 14x zoom, which is good for versatility.
The only thing I couln't get was why Canon had made the flash opening knob so tiny. I actually looked in the manual how to open the flash. Got it sorted finally.
