Legacy Lens - Different version of the FD 50mm F1.4 ?

Looking to purchase a legacy 50mm F1.4 lens but I am not quite knowledgeable on them. It seems like there are different versions of them like the SSC, mark I, mark II....which one will be the better choice out of the 50mm F1.4 line?
