I own the GXR with M module only from a few days, but for sure I can tell you that images needs much less sharpening (if no sharpening at all) in comparison from those coming from my Nikon D7000. Once you sharpen in PP Nikon images are very sharp too, but I find the Ricoh images a biit more natural, in particular landscapes.

If you have a set of Olympus OM lenses, the GXR with M module (and a good adapter) is almost a no brainer. The tiny dimensions of OM lenses and their quality are a very good companion on the GXR body. I adapted my OM 50 f:1,4, and I'm very happy with the results.
