When private equity companies (sharks) enter the shareholding mix, it always signals consolidation/acquisitions or being acquired/consolidated.

Leica is too small to continue innovation on their own and need strategic partnerships. Either Fuji or Olympus could offer benefits to Leica. The play is always bigger than just cameras.
