"Buffett has $8 billion to $10 billion to spend on the right investment, though he has no specific merger-and-acquisition plans currently, he said yesterday in a visit to Japan."
Once Olympus' management is thrown out, and their accounting has been cleaned up, I wonder if he would consider a takeover of Olympus.
Just wild speculation on my part.
In the article, he compares Olympus to Enron, so maybe not.
