Pentax K-5 autofocus performance?
Nov 21, 2011

I am an Olympus user, who is disappointed with some aspects of the Oly gear, and highly impressed by the capabilities of the K-5, when reading reviews. Especially the high ISO performance. However, one thing that is important to me is reliable and fast autofocus. Continuous autofocus in particular, as I shoot runners indoors and outdoors, and sometimes the lighting is bad. Olympus sucks at this, to be honest.

Does the K-5 match up to the Nikon D300S and D700 in terms of fast and reliable autofocus for moving subjects?

I'm trying to decide if I should just get the K-5 or save up for a D700 instead.

(By mistake, I posted this same message in the general Pentax forum - please ignore that one).
