Do they have an abuse filter on this forum?

A chap based in Holland name of Polansky (God knows what his name was because he hid it well) abused me gratuitously last week and was attacked by several people as a consequence. He's gone silent which suggests to me that he's been barred. I didn't complain him. Maybe someone else did, or perhaps they have an automatic filter to detect this kind of thing?
About a year ago a similar thing happened to an American who did the same thing.
I don't respond to abuse with abuse, though I will with humour.
