Canon 70-200 2.8 vs Canon 2.8 IS
Nov 17, 2011

Hi

I know there is 3 versions of the lens, the:
Canon 70-200mmL f/2.8 MKII IS
Canon 70-200mmL f/2.8 IS USM
Canon 70-200mmL f/2.8 USM

The first one is out of my budget, but I'm considering the other two... the IS version is only availble as used atm. But they are both close in price.

Which of the two:
Canon 70-200mmL f/2.8 IS USM
Canon 70-200mmL f/2.8 USM

Would any of you recommend, in case you have tried both ?

Should I go for the IS and a used lens or a new lens without IS ?

or maybe just go for a Sigma 70-200 2.8 OS lens instead for the Canon ?

Thanks,
