5D Mk1, still a good camera?

Hello guys,
A few years back I could only dream about purchasing a Canon 5D, but now we can easily find a good deal for it and purchase it almost at the same price as an entry level DSLR. Question is, is a 5 year old camera a good option at this time? Apart from the FF sensor, what advantage would it have against a 60D for example?
I currently have a Sony Nex 5 and I like it for it's portability, but I was looking for a more serious camera, with faster AF and better lenses (would start by a combo of 5D + 50mm F1.4/1.8. Then I would keep the Nex as my walk around cam and use the 5D only when better IQ is needed.
Thanks in advance for any comments.
