Check out my new project - Faraday/Sugimoto Candles

I would like to invite you to view a few images from my newest project, Faraday/Sugimoto Candles.
This one was a long time coming. I started it about two years ago shooting an 8x10 Arca-Swiss (with 4x5 adapter) and a Linhof IV 4x5 (at the same time!). Set up was at my bedroom window--had to push the bed way over near the far wall to make room for all the tripods (Majestic for the big one, a Bogen 3036 for the little Linhof--then I just kept those same tripods when I made the switch to digital) and other stuff. It was like that for months and months and months. You can imagine how thrilled my wife was with this--but at least it was fun telling people about all the camera gear I had semi-permanently installed in my bedroom. Made them ponder that for a while!
In any event, I eventually migrated this to DSLR, two Nikons (one a D300, the other a D7000), one with a Zeiss 50 f/2 Makro, one with a Zeiss 50 1.4.
Check out that razor sharpness, the incredible bokeh...my God, man, look at the way it draws.
I hope you enjoy the images. Feedback is always welcome, of course.
