New photographer and D7000 owner, first travel shots.
Nov 14, 2011

Hello all,

Well I'm pretty much an amateur at this and have a LOT to learn. I just picked up a D7000 for a trip to London (and to hopefully grow into). I've always been very interested in photography snapping shots with my iPhone and an older KM A200 (but pretty much only in point and click mode, with pretty poor results!)

These are some of the shots I took so far on the trip. I'm trying to take multiple versions of each shot, where possible, so I can see the results of different settings in Lightroom afterwards. It's going to be very helpful as I can already see how important it is. The ones I've uploaded to the gallery below are the "better' shots (comparatively) but I'm sure I can use plenty of critique from you all. There was not science behind these shots, just trial and error, more as a learning exercise that I'll use as homework later.

Some shots here and the rest in the gallery link.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.
