Wouldn't the 24-70 be unflattering for portraiture?

For the studio lights, would 2 einsteins and a Vagabond mini with an extra battery hold up for all this continuous shooting or do I have to get something like 2 Elinchrom bx500ri and find a way to power them on location? Because I really don't want to invest in buying some rangers that I will only use on location and buy another good set a few months later for studio use that will be remote controlled.

And thanks for the additional prom advices. Some of that I have already taken care of, but a lot of it I might have found out the hard way and will now take the time to research. This is the other reason why I look at it way ahead of time

Thanks for your help
