How can I get rid of the "Lo"

When I shoot in low light with my D700 in Program mode or Aperture Priority mode, the "Lo" appear in the viewfinder. I find it annoying since I cannot read the real shutter speed. I search the whole D700 user manual but cannot find the way how to get rid of the "Lo" and show the actual shutter speed instead. Does anyone know how to set? Thanks in advance for your advice.
