FZ150..first pictures (not terribly impressed)

I got a brand new FZ150 delivered to me last week and tried to take a few shots in the night and to my dismay, not terribly impressed with the photo qualiity.

All were taken indoors in P mode with iDynamic and iResolution turned ON. Specifically, I wanted to focus on an object from outside my room. The object is located in a very dim light and I was unable to get a good focus in P mode. I was able to turn to Night Portrait and got a snap kind of OK.

Please take a look and let me know what I'm doing incorrectly here.
