LR3 Intro Screen and Ending Screen Issues

Using Lightroom 3 in slideshow, I have the intro and ending screen boxes checked and they randomly appear. Not at the beginning of play and at the end as they should. Also using identity plates as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
