DPReview: You should show the Lumix G X 14-42 mm collapsed ... When DPReview shows pictures of cameras like the Panasonic Lumix DMC GX1 with its X 14-42 lens attached, they always have the lens extended.
DPReview: that is pure bias. You should show the lens compacted. People only extend lenses when they are using them. When they carry a camera, they typically turn the lens off, and have it compact.
DPReview: Compactness is a significant reason why people buy Compact System Cameras (or mirrorless cameras with interchangeable lenses).
So PLEASE, show the camera as its carried, with its lens compacted. Just like you show most other lenses when they attached and not being used.
That you do not, stinks of bias against Micro Four Thirds superbly compact lenses, when compared with their competition.
Lets be fair, and not biased.
If a person checks for instance the new Panasonic GX1 which ships as an option with the X 14-42 lens, users will think that the lens is as big as for instance Olympus's 14-42 lens. But ... its not. And only an enthusiast will realise that DPReview shows the lens extended ... while other lenses, are typically shown compacted. Such pictures hide the truth, and mis-inform in my opinion.
