And it sort of snowed last night. Not much stuck at my elevation. So I decided to head for higher elevations, Sullivan Lake and Cathy's Cafe in Metaline Falls for lunch and Pecan Pie a la mode. Very tasty! Just ask Lois, and Bob & Judy Baum.

Along Sherry Lake, elevation about 3200 ft.

Gillette Lake park. A larch in fall colors with a snow frosting is like having your cake and eating it to...or pie.

Somewhere between the Pend Oreille River and Noisy Ck. Campground; snow in the hills.

There are better shots to come, but I thought I'd take them in travel order. Comments are fine.
