X10 or P7100: tough call or is it?

I haven't been reading for Nikon P7100 vs X10 comparisons as far as image quality, but, I have seen a few P7100 reviews now and they are coming in with the 7100 being better than G12.

Starting to see some user testing of X10 as well as reading about those disappointed. I am wondering; were people's expectations of X10 unrealistic as far as IQ and whether it is better than the new P7100 which has lots of resolution for its sensor, especially in Raw.

P7100 has had many tweaks on performance over 7000 model and make it appealing option. The X10 has a very good lens/body/ovf but I am seeing conflicting info on IQ.

Anyone done any comparisons and have conclusions that favor the X10?

I will be buying one or the other shortly with my initial leaning with the X10--while I wait on the next generation of the Nex 7 and after selling of 5n.
