New S100 Questions - Help Please

I own a number of Canon DSLRs and just bought a S100. The manual that comes with it is useless and the one on the disk doesn't seem much better. For example, how do you register "My Menu" items? Or, apply a set of shooting settings to the "C" mode? These things were really easy on the dSLRs, but I can't find any index settings for these items in the user guide. If anyone has figured these items out, your help will be greatly appreciated.
