I'm glad you're appreciating the camera more now. From these pictures, I'd say the image quality is better than what I see from most other advanced P&S cameras. I'm especially impressed with the edge and corner sharpness.

Agree

The Russian X10 review site clearly shows that the X10 has excellent edge sharpness. And comparisons with even DSLR's show tht it's lens is superior to most DSLR kit lenses. Only the RICOH A12, OLY E3, and the X100 appeared better to my eyes.

Of course, I'm not talking about overal IQ as sensor size will win out. But a good lens will make a big difference.
