Tough choice, 135mm f/2 or 70-200 f/4 IS. What would you do?

Hi everyone,

Being a long time Canon user, I just sold the Nikon D700 and 28-70 f/2.8 lens I had since a year. Indeed I couldn't get used to the Nikon system. It is a wonderful camera but I'm too used to Canon.

I bought a 5D2 and a 50mm f/1.2. I will also buy the 16-35 f2.8 mk2 in the next weeks. Finally I'm looking for a longer lens and hesitate between 2 lenses: 135 f/2 or 70-200 f/4 IS. Which one would you use knowing that I'm more into portraits, family and wedding shots?

I understand the zoom will bring me more flexibility. The 135mm will provide me with beautiful bookeh and unbeatable sharpness. But isn't the 135mm slightly too short? An alternative would be to add an extender to the 135?

I won't take the 70-200 f/2.8 VR II. Reason? Too expensive, too heavy and I need to keep a bit of cash to buy a flash.

What would you do?

Thank you.
