Canon EOS 7D and using 3rd Party Lenses Questions

So as I will be getting a Canon EOS 7D soon I wanted to ask anyone or everyone who owns a Canon EOS 7D if 3rd party lenses work good with this camera or atleast ones they have tried. I know sometimes you run across or read about some cameras not liking 3rd party lenses but how does the Canon EOS 7D hold up?

Any recommended lenses? I know their are several brands such as Tokina, Tamron, Sigma and more.
