Canon's 6800 Dollar swipe at Sigma SD1 rant.

I am surprised no one has commented here on it yet AFIK.

Canon's introduction of their new 1D X Pro body. The street price was projected to be 6800 USD ironically the same as the current street price of the SD1.

Doing a feature comparison its kind of hard to take Sigma seriously. But as Reichmann said Sigma seems to want to sell a Six thousand dollar sensor in a 1000 dollar camera body.
The 1D X screams that point.
