How are the fall colors in your area? It's been a very wet year in my area (we surpassed the total average rain fall for a full year, in July...), and the fall colors are looking very poor as a result. I've been told that the excessive moisture itself it not the problem. The explanation that I heard is that the wet conditions have allowed the trees to get diseases, which are resulting in dull fall colors. And it's so wet that many of the trees are still green. Dark moldy green, and pale faded green.
Attached are a few pics of some isolated colors that I was able to find, during a rare few days of sunshine and blue skies. I am not, and will never be, Ansel Adams, so these aren't compositional masterpieces by any stretch of the imagination, but C&C is welcome.
Photos were all taken with my 60D.
