Is the Olympus XZ-2 an eventuality?

Is the Olympus XZ-2 an eventuality?
Is it more a less a sure thing in the future?
Or is the XZ-1 the only one they are coming up with?
I'm looking into getting a new camera and was wondering that since that xz-1 is almost a year old in a couple of months, that the xz-2 will be released around 1st quarter of next year
Does olympus do yearly cycles release of their products? Do they update yearly?
