I couldn't agree more

What is needed in ALL Challenges:

  1. Clear Title

  2. Clear description

  3. Clear Rules

  4. A Host that enforces the above as published at announcement time

What I would add as a Host:

  1. Date restriction on date the entry was taken

  2. Voting requirement for Entrants (votes cast/Challenge entry)

  3. Forum posting requirement for Entrants

  4. Commitment from Entrants to vote on all entries in the Challenge

Now view challenges hosted by Bernard 909 - No discussion. Why, it's all there in the rules. The host posts the SUBJECT, provides an EXAMPLE of what Bernard 909 would like submitted to the challenge and will NOT waiver from the requirements posted - a single something only, or a specific subject only, a very clear and concise size of image, no room for error. The Challenge is normally restricted to 50 entries only, and I feel that this encourages me to vote on each challenge, time permitting. This is how, in my humble opinion a challenge should be run.

Now, Bernard 909 has DQ'd me on two occasions and has had the CLASS to respond to me and explain WHY on both ocassions. In my mind these are the Challenges that I like to enter. Food for thought.
