I agree 100%. Yes, I will buy a 1D X but only for sport/airshows. My primary interest is landscape and for that 18mp is simply not good enough these days. I will hang on to my 1Ds3 for a while but if Canon does not come out with a 30+mp FF 1 series body I will have to look somewhere else. I want a 1 series body and not a 5D because I don't want to worry about rain/dust/cold when I am out in the wild and when I travel halfway around the world for a shoot I want the utmost reliability.

So Canon needs to do something else it will be the end of many years of happy Canon shooting on this side
