What's up with the GF3?

A few hours ago I was checking the Panasonic Direct prices on G3 by going through the Facebook page(for any discounted pricing) and I saw the GF3 14-42 lens kit for $409.99. Has the camera had that bad of a reception by consumers?

For me, I loved the GF1 and was really disappointed that Panasonic continued to downsize the subsequent models instead of making image refinements and adding an articulating LCD to it.

Anyway, I haven't been reading on this forum of late so forgive me if this topic has been discussed.
