Mac + Epson R3000 owners: DO NOT USE driver version 8.36 !!!

A warning for those running SL 10.6.8 or Lion 10.7.x and an Epson R3000 printer. The older driver version supplied with the CD (version 8.36) triggers a annoying cleaning cycle on the very first print. I installed this driver on my iMac and Macbook Pro and every time after installation it drains a massive amount of expensive ink into my waste ink pads.....because of this unwanted cleaning cycle, that the driver somehow sends to the printer to execute.
The latest update from Apple to version 8.61 solved this bug in the driver.
