Nex 5N AF speed a bit dissapointing

I stopped by a sony store today and tried the 5N for a bit. coming from M4/3 I wasn't familiar w/ Nex's interface, but I think I'd be able to get used to it. what surprised me was the AF speed. I've been using an EPL1+ oly14-150mm, which are both quite old models, and I felt that this new Nex model with the kit lens is actually slower in AF.

I know mirrorless cameras have slower AF speed than DSLRs, but I would at least expect it to beat P&S AF speed.
