Old Takumars on Sony A850

Hi,
this are my first day tests from one of the Takumars i got.
This is a 135/2.5 SMC Takumar .

What can i say wide open the lens is as sharp as it gets.

Looks like resolution is more then camera can take. I am sure it will be better steeped down bit.

I got a 50/1.4, 50/4 macro, 85/1.9 135/2.5 and 300/4 and love every one of them.

Sharp as can be ( or as much as i need them to be) fast to focus. I love it.

Attached is a down sampled picture and a 100% crop of it as well.
They are a bit sharpened and contrast added, but nothing crazy.

But details are there.

Using them today brings back memories of a Black and White days ...

I think i will put my zooms aside for some time and try to remember what photography was all about ... Power to the primes.

Share some OLD / New primes pictures and tell me what's good out there in M42 mount that i may be missing ;0)

Do not be too hard on me, i just got back in m42 a week ago. I think 5 lenses a week is a good speed. ;0)
