Crabtree Falls, Virginia (6 images)

I've lived in VA all my life, but yesterday was my first visit to Crabtree Falls, located in the George Washington National Forest. There's lots of autumn color there already, and I think I got a few keepers from the day. I highly recommend a visit, if you get the chance. The falls are supposed to be the highest east of the Mississippi River and the trail is well maintained and a very pretty hike with lots of places to stop along the way and photograph the falls or just rest. Crabtree Falls Highway (Rte. 56) is a lovely, curvy mountain drive as well.

C&C is always welcome! These are all taken with either the DA 15 Limited or DA 35/2.4. Hope you enjoy them and thank you for looking.
