wireless options for 5D MkII eye-fi, WFT, ??

I've been following this for years but haven't seen much of anything in a long time. Only current way to shoot wireless is with eye-fi via surgery or the 'old' WFT which still doesn't support 802.11n (!) and is still too big. Getting very frustrated with lack of options with Canon vs Nikon. Maybe someday Canon will produce a new pro camera with SD.... Anyone have any reliable info on how and when they think Canon might solve this?
