My question is will the graphics card do justice to the display and support all the latter's features?

2560 x 1440 resolution (the same as on a 27-inch Cinema or Thunderbolt Display) is within the capabilities of the Mini's Thunderbolt port. I would suggest using one of the DisplayPort type inputs on the monitor, as the cables to connect to those (MiniDisplayPort-to-whatever) should be a lot less expensive than the alternative (a MiniDisplayPort-to-dual-link-DVI adapter).

As far as features, I don't believe you're going to get 10-bit-per-channel color out of the Mini. That requires application, OS, video chipset, and driver support, which is still a bit hard to find. (On the PC Forum, a recent post was saying that the Windows version of Photoshop CS5 only supports 10-bit color with a couple of video cards, and that the Windows version of Lightroom doesn't support it at all.)
