Mooses w D200, 800 ISO, 500-f/4,
Oct 5, 2011
Took these photos Sunday on a grey cloudy day in Foret Montmorency (70 km North of Quebec City). I had to pump up my ISO to 800 on my D200 and was surprised with the result (i.e. only little noise).
I was using my Nikon 500mm f/4 VRII on a monopod at speeds of 1/20 sec to 1/60 sec and got several reasonably sharp pictures, thanks to VRII ! It may not be tack sharp but it is better than what I anticipated !
N.B. these photos include only very little sharpening in NX2 (average = 30-5-4 unsharp masking)
1st is not cropped while the others are cropped.
