agreed with above that your 70-200 and 100mm macro should be able to come up with some amazing portrait shots. I played with the sigma 50mm f/1.4 and Canon 100L before and from impression I liked the colour rendering of the Canon a lot more.

The bokeh on sigma is definitely creamy but I couldn't quite stand the relatively slower focusing which searches a bit more than i would like.. Manual focusing (when you need it) will be painful on the sigma..

i have heard the canon 50 f/1.4 is not bad. for non-intrusive portraits i may choose a 50mm over 30 or 35mm.
