DMC-ZS3 and DMC-ZS8: anybody had experience with both?

I currently have a DMC-ZS3, which I consider to be the best of the cameras I've owned over the years. I also have (for my wife) the ZR1, which is an ok camera, but from my experience not near as good as the ZS3.

Anyway, I am thinking of buying another camera with similar attributes of the ZS3 (to keep on my boat). The ZS8 looks somewhat similar to the ZS3 and can be bought for under $220. Has anyone used both the 3 and 8 before? Any major differences in picture quality between the two ?
