p300 vs ixus 220hs (elph 300hs)
i'm doing a research for a friend (he wants a good pocket camera) and came up with these two cameras, i believe they can be compared because:
-lens wide angle is 24mm on both, tele similar
-12mp / 1:2.3 sensor cmos
-full hd video
-iq is similar
-good body construction
i think nikon has a better brighter lens, although image is slightly less noisier on canon... nikon is more expensive but has more controls (which is nice of course)...
the f1.8 vs f2.7 is (at least) one shutter speed advantage (or less iso) for nikon
if it was for me i'd go for the canon (i have slr) and i'm used to it, so i decided to ask 'nikonians' what are the reasons that make p300 a better option - if not i'll opt for the canon...
things like iso and noise control, speed and focus reliability are main concerns
