I love my LX3, mainly for its fabulous lens, not so much for its sensor which is unfortunately suffering from "digital rot".

The LX5 seemed like a good camera too at launch but I wasn't really tempted to upgrade. Now an LX6 with a 4/3" sensor would be a completely different story.

If Panasonic is willing to put a 4/3" sensor and an outstanding zoom lens in a package the size of the LX3/LX5, with a silent leaf shutter, it could have a very interesting product in its hands.
