Focus issues 7D

Is anyone out there having focusing issues with their Canon 7D. Shooting portraits today and again the focus is not were I placed the focus box. It's either in front of or behind the subject. Seems to be with all lenses that I have. Yes, I'm a season veteran with Canon, and used to use a 5D with same lenses and had no issues at all.
